My name is Donna Roberts Brown, and this is my cher­ished cor­ner of the world­wide web. Orig­i­nally designed to pri­mar­ily show­case my own adven­tures in imagery and design, it is con­stantly evolv­ing – a con­tin­ual work in progress – like me. It will grow and change, regress and leap for­ward. You may notice a fre­quent change in the appar­ent pur­pose and focus of this site…it’s called Atten­tion Deficit Dis­or­der. Yes, I have ADD…and a grab bag full of many other col­or­ful dis­or­ders and pho­bias as well. A healthy dose of dys­func­tions and dis­or­derly con­duct keeps life interesting.

As an artist, I seek to con­nect with my view­ers emo­tion­ally through visual imagery, employ­ing skill­ful tech­niques that merge tra­di­tional pho­tog­ra­phy, design and com­po­si­tion, and a widely var­ied mix­ture of nat­ural media, with the infi­nite pos­si­bil­i­ties afforded through mod­ern dig­i­tal imagery and dig­i­tal paint­ing. Like the world around us, so is my work – an ever-changing kalei­do­scope of imagery con­vey­ing emo­tion, color, tex­tures, pat­terns and exper­i­ments with tech­nique and mediums – a cre­ative inter­ac­tion of the old with the new – an excit­ing adven­ture of explo­ration and dis­cov­ery.

I pay the bills with a full-time designer position by day (freelance too, on occasion), though admittedly my heart and passion is in the pursuit of perfecting the art of fine art photography, mixed media fine art creations, commissioned portraiture and select event photography.
